Do you have stubborn hope?
The kind that says “Go ahead and try! No one or nothing is gonna take this from me!”?
I think you do.
Even if you don’t realize it at this moment.
After all, you have been though hard things before.
And you are STILL HERE.
That stubborn hope? It got you through. It got you further than you imagined.
And it’ll do it again.
You’ve had a lot of years of life so far.
And you’ve grown and you’ve changed because of what came before.
It has made you strong.
It has made you capable.
And whether or not you believe it to be true, others see how you have fought and kicked and wrestled your way through to where you are today … and they admire you.
Whether or not someone has told you this directly, your story and your fight and your STUBBORN hope has given life to someone else’s journey.
I know it’s rough sometimes.
I know that being stubborn about your hope is easier some days than others… some years than others.
But it WILL carry you through.
This audacious hope.
This unrelenting hope.
It’s there. Right there in you.
It was planted there by grace.
And grace has a tight hold on you.
It always has and always will.
And don’t give up on yourself…
because God will never give up on you.
(I don’t know who needed to hear this today, but I hope it landed where it needed to).
