Today I’m over at Ignatian Solidarity Network writing about this past Sunday’s readings for their Rise Up series. Particularly, I chose to write about this portion of Sunday’s Gospel from Luke, Chapter 11:
“And I tell you, ask and you will receive;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks, receives;
and the one who seeks, finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
I’ve written about this Gospel many times over the years (like this time I wrote about my boys locking my husband and I out of the house). Each time I sit down to reflect on this Gospel about prayer and persistence, however, I feel the Spirit inviting me to consider it in a new way.
This short reflection for Rise Up is no exception.
